Ongoing Projects

Yeyo! Maasai women at school

Yeyo! Maasai women at school is a literacy project for women living in the rural areas of Kilindi District, north-east of Tanzania. The first cycle started at the beginning of 2010 and ended in October 2010; it provided a course of written and oral Swahili for 100 maasai women living in the village of Elerai.

Upcoming Projects

Health & Information Technology

Last start-up is the core part of a rural health center in Elerai, area where this kind of service is not available.The building, including a consulting room and a pharmacy, will be implemented by local workers, using local technologies.Main innovation will be the use of Information Technologies.

Fair Tourism

Fair Tourism 2013

Lavoriamo Insieme plans and promotes at least one "fair tourism" itinerary every year. Journeys are open to our members who aims to visit our project fields in Tanzania. As usual, in 2011 it will be possibile to join some of our missions and better know our cooperation & development work. To participate in our fair tourism journeys, membership to Lavoriamo Insieme is required.

Awareness Program

"Chuo" Awareness Program

"Chuo" Awareness Program is an educational itinerary about the themes of Africa and charity work.It consists of a series of activities targeted to students of primary schools, with subjects suitable for an age where the development of social and cultural awareness is very relevant.
